THINGS YOU GET UP TO WHEN STUDYING ART..

Here are a few images of me (taken by my sister) for my recent art project, I am really interested in the combination of animals and humans, I find it really intriguing and love experimenting with new ideas for art projects:)

OUTFIT POST: A RAINY WINTER DAY

Today I decided to take a few snaps of my outfit I wore to sixth form (in other words, got my sister to take some pictures;)) 

PARKA:      TOPSHOP

JUMPER:     PRIMARK

TARTAN SCARF:  CARBOOT

DISCO PANTS: CHARITY SHOP

BOOTS: PRIMARK

As you can tell in the pictures, today was not the best, weather-wise, the sun failed to make an appearance so I decided to jazz up the dullness of the day my wearing my newly purchased 'disco pants'. I have seen these leggings/trousers/pants all over the place, originating from the £74 american apparel website. 

While I was away from home at a university interview, I decided to have a cheeky look in the charity shops. First rail I looked at i picked up these for just £4! what a bargain! With a few easily fixed holes they were amazing for just £4!

My parka I've had for a few months now and its an absolute lifesaver! 

I decided to splurge on this £95 parka from topshop as I believe a great winter coat is an absolute essential and its definitely worth the money!

The slightly knitted grey jumper/top was only £2 from primark, which I was amazed at! 

The quality is amazing and feels very luxurious to say its from primark!

Next is the tartan scarf, quite self-explanitory really- my idea is that a tartan scarf is also a staple piece as it is very in-trend and can make an outfit look alot more put together!

Lastly is my primark boots, these were only £12 in the sale!

I previously went in primark and they were £18 so I had to pick them up!

I think they look very Dr Marten-esque!

CHUNKY BOOT CRAZE

Recently, chunky boots have really been in fashion. 
Above I have listed the boots I have my eyes set on for a while :)

Topshop really have a great selection of boots to choose from, I always find myself browsing the boots section and becoming increasingly depressed with the amazing shoes I am yet to buy! 

Dr Martens are a recent crave of mine, with my role model being Hayley Williams, there are many pictures of her sporting a good pair of Dr Martens.

Lastly are the beauties by the whitepepper!

The whitepepper are so amazing, clothing and shoes wise, I say you take a quick look, you'll be hooked!

I am hoping to post an entire on post on the topshop arabel boots and how you can find great lookalikes!
